This years Kitchen & Bath Industry Show left us with so much more than just sore feet. The show was packed all three days, and as usual we tried our best to amass as much information as possible to take away and bring back to our business.
Trending on the exhibit floor were warm tones in faucets and finishes, technology and color in appliances, ease of use and storage for cabinets and hardware, whites and softer colors in fixtures, understated bling in the bath and lighting, and black, black, black. Here is just a sampling of some of the products that drew our attention and a video of booth highlights from our action packed week in Las Vegas.
Lets start with the new quartz colors and applications that were revealed!
Cambria debuted 20 new colors in celebration of 2020, our personal favorite being Brittanica Block. Which is meant to give the appearance of a traditional butcher block with a quartz twist.
Cosentino debuted new colors and collections of Dekton and Silestone. One of our favorites from their 2020 booth is an on trend shade of Dekton called “Feroe” which is a beautiful muted evergreen color.
Other kitchen trends we noted? Colored appliances (Pictured below is SMEG), muted tones, and tons of black! Almost every single booth (especially those that featured countertops) had various shades of matte black and patterns with black marbling. We can’t wait to see how these trends play out in the coming years as well as what’s in store for kitchens in next years show.
