We are currently recruiting for an experienced Stone Fabricator in our Wilsonville, OR facility for our compressed weekend shift, Friday – Sunday 5:00am – 5:30pm Our success lies in the people we hire. Duties & Responsibilities:
- Operate Jib Cranes and run BACA miter saw
- Operate stone cutting machinery and tools
- Measure and cut accurately
- Hand fabricate miter 45 seams and fit together waterfall legs
- Fabricate and glue 45 and stack lamination edges
- Top polish all products (Granite, Quartz, Dekton) and advanced surface repairs
- Read shop diagrams and templates to determine scope of project
- Label templates to flow properly through the shop
- Able to cut out and hand fab an undermount sink by hand
- Cut jobs and confirm each piece matches template
- Maintain machinery and their components
- Work to proper safety standards
Qualifications
- Fluent in fabrication with the ability to train others in beginner stages
- The ability to profile and polish edges by hand occasionally
- We are a 3cm wet fab shop that also does complex miter work and 2cm lamination so experience with that is beneficial
- Successful history of working in a high paced changing work place
- Record of outstanding attendance and punctuality
- Proven record of quality work and attention to detail
- A basic understanding of construction principles (plumb, flat , level, square)
- Ability to accurately translate measurements from drawings to product
- Successful history working well with co-workers
- Must be able to pass background check
