Every year Oregonians flock to the NW Natural Street of Dreams event to see what’s new in home design and get inspired. In 2019 Precision Countertops was proud to partner with Renaissance Homes to collaborate on this “Farm to Table” home. This thoughtful home showcases an airy modern design that’s rooted in the contemporary farmhouse aesthetic. The house itself creates a luxurious space where you can gather, grow, create and breathe. Here is a look at this modern sanctuary and the countertops that tie the whole look together.
Eco Chic Kitchen
The kitchen features state of the art appliances and a breathtaking island made from an eco-friendly Pental Quartz in the color “Concreto”. This countertop gives the appearance of poured concrete with the easy maintenance and durability that quartz is known for. The surrounding perimeter of the kitchen is also quartz (Pental, in Arabescato) and is accompanied by a matching full height backsplash that adds to the visual impact of the stone.
Space For Entertaining
The kitchen is accompanied by not one, but two pantries! Both the large butlers pantry and the in-kitchen pantry feature all white quartz countertops (Pental, in Cascade White) which is a smart choice for such busy spaces. The countertops look clean and chic against a complicated backsplash in the wet bar area and against the dark cabinetry.
Monochromatic Bathrooms
The bathrooms also feature quartz (Pental, in Cascade White & Super White) and look clean and crisp against the dark tile and geometric lighting. The waterfall edge selected for the master bathroom vanity has huge visual impact and is an excellent choice in this space.
Intentionality For Day To Day Living
The laundry space is large, and a place that has a ton of foot traffic. Quartz is an excellent option for this kind of countertop (Pental, in Tartuto) since it will stand the test of time after use in a space that has a variety of activities happening in it.
Pacific Northwest Outdoor Entertaining
Last but not least, the exterior entertaining spaces were a huge highlight of this home. A Dekton material (Trillium) was used for the face and countertop of the outdoor fireplace and the outdoor BBQ area. Dekton is perfect for outdoor applications since the UV rays won’t fade it or alter it over time.
