Quartz Countertop + Backsplash Pairs We Love

Quartz Countertop + Backsplash Pairs We Love

Tis the season for chocolates, flowers, and everything heart shaped. So this year, we thought it would be fun to showcase some of our favorite countertop + backsplash “duos” to celebrate February. By our way of thinking a countertop isn’t complete without a beautiful backsplash and a backsplash can’t even exist without a countertop to compliment it. You could say these two make the ultimate kitchen pair. ๐Ÿ˜‰

Picking these two things out is a huge step when visiting our showroom and designing your dream kitchen, so here is some seasonal inspiration to get you started!

Navy and white is a classing pairing in all spaces, but we especially love it in kitchens and think this geometric twist is so modern and beautiful but also keeps things simple and classic. The quartz color is “Swanbridge” by Cambria and this glazed hexagon tile is from Fireclay Tile.

If a tile backsplash isn’t your thing, this next pairing is for you! We are really big fans of doing a full height slab backsplash. If the quartz you selected has really interesting veining or details, this is a really great way to showcase it.

This kitchen is from our 2019 “street of dreams” home and showcases “Arabescato” on the backsplash + perimeter and “Concreto Honed” on the island, both colors are by Pental Quartz. In this case, Arabescato is perfect for this application since it has really great movement and it can mirror the perimeter material. We think this grey and white duo is high end and classic, making it great for a large kitchen.

And last but not least we have a pairing if light colored countertops *aren’t* what you are looking for! A darker color like black or dark gray is a bold choice for a countertop and looks great in high traffic kitchens. This grey on grey pairing by Emser Tile is monochromatic magic with this “Raven” quartz by Caesarstone. The light toned tile almost looks blue when paired with something so dark and everything in this space looks great with stainless steel. Plus, you can really never go wrong with something as classic as subway tile.

Happy Valentine’s Day from Precision Countertops! ๐Ÿ’•
